Balances cane off edge of table. Only holds up to a 1" diameter cane shaft. Cane or crutch can be kept in either one of two ways. The clip enables the cane to suspend and hook on the edge of a table or desk, a hanging position. Or, with the end of the cane on the floor, the clip must slide way up till it touches the enderside of the table and the cane can be in a standing postion, or wedge postion.
